Although the increase in fees for 2022 was credited to a 2.64% increase in the Quebec consumer price index, the province noted that “the 3% adjustment [in 2023] corresponds to the increase proposed by the Minister of Finance of Quebec and is not based, as usual, on the consumer price index of Quebec.”
